Garry Hill has swooped for another Merstham ace – 24-goal striker Charlie Penny for a nominal fee.
On loan at the Moatsiders from Dulwich Hamlet, Penny, along with the Cards other new signing Fabio Saravia, was a shining light for the Ryman Premier side last season.
The 21-year-old impressed against Woking in Merstham’s 3-1 win in the Surrey Senior Cup, scoring their second.
