Yeovil Town striker Shaun Jeffers has signed for Woking on a 28-day loan.

The 23-year-old started his career at Coventry City, making his debut in the Football League Cup in August 2009 against Hartlepool United. He made his Championship debut three days later, coming on as a substitute in a 2-0 win over Barnsley. The following year, Jeffers signed on-loan for Cheltenham Town and scored his first Football League goal in his second appearance for the club.

In 2013, Jeffers signed for Peterborough United. He scored twice for the Posh in a 5-0 win over Tranmere Rovers. January 2015 saw Jeffers move to Newport County, where he played 35 times before signing for Yeovil. He has made 30 appearances for the Glovers this season, with his first goal coming against Stevenage.

Garry Hill has also been busy in extending the loan of defender Cameron Norman. The Norwich City U21 captain has made 18 appearances in the all competitions for the Cards since joining in October. The versatile defender has helped solidify the Woking backline, playing in both full-back positions. The news will undoubtably please Woking fans as Hill’s men look to break into the play-off positions.

Norman posted on Instagram saying:
cameronnorman7: ‘Happy to extend my Loan at Woking for the rest of the season! Past few months have been a great experience, with great support and some big results… Time for more 🔥⬆️🔴 #cards#playoffs’
