Fresh from their first win in over three months, Woking take on high-flying Grimsby.

Woking Team News:

For the first time in 98 days, Woking finally got the winning feeling back thanks to Cameron Norman’s injury time winner at second place Forest Green. The Cards are unbeaten in their last three games but face a tough test against Grimsby, who they have a torrid record against.

Alex Smith and John Goddard both missed out on Saturday due to injury. It is expected that Goddard will be unavailable tonight but could feature against Lincoln on Saturday.

Player to watch: Keiran Murtagh

Murtagh drove Woking forward in the second half at Forest Green, earning himself a spot in The Non-League Paper’s Team of the Day. He’ll have to play an integral part again tonight if Woking are to get a result.

Grimsby Town Team News:

Grimsby once again missed out on the title in their sixth consecutive season in Non-League, and now face a battle to secure a play-off place.

Some patchy form at the start of the season and then at the turn of the new year, all but ended the Mariners hopes of automatic promotion. They’ve now only won once in their last six and sit three points above Eastleigh, who are sixth. They won’t want to slip up again tonight.

Player to watch: Padraig Amond

The Irishman has scored 27 goals this season, making him the second highest scorer behind Dan Holman on 28. He scored twice in the reverse fixture so Woking know all about what he can do.

Match Facts & Stats

In seven league meetings, Woking have never beaten Grimsby. A 2-2 draw is the only result the Cards have picked up.
